I love how pretentious this villain’s name is. Her name, Loa, is like the Jain equivalent of calling themselves Bodisatva, or other types of Buddhist calling themselves Budah. There really isn’t quite a Christian equivalent, other than maybe calling yourself Elohiem when you read that as a plural of god, but that gets interpreted so differently by different Christians.
For those who don’t know, Loa are the various entities in Vodun religion that are responsible for all of reality as we know it. Vodoo is the practice of calling upon specific Loa to benefit yourself or loved ones or, in the black magic side, to hurt others and force them to do your bidding (ie the original zombie).
This will be interesting. If Carmen has been anything as Salvadora, it is lucky. Maybe the suit comes with super good-luck powers, making all quantum randomness super-beneficial. Not sure what that would do with the potion. If she’s lucky, it’ll be a luck supressor that eventually runs out. If she’s unlucky, she could be looking at chaos fractals of good and bad luck conflicting, and that doesn’t even have to make sense!
She floats! Well… parts of her float…
Zombie boobies!
Zomboobs.
“You sly dog, you got me monologuing.”
Can’t deny the effectivity of a punch straight to the face.
That hot bath tough…

Did she just fall into a vat of liquid bad luck?

Now if it was an ancient Gaulish magic potion….!
+1 for the reference, by Toutatis!
I wonder who would win in a fight, Salvadora or Obelix.
Salvadora, since Obelix can’t hurt a woman because he has to obey the “Gaul Gallantry” rules.
I got voodoo, I got hoodoo,
I got things I ain’t even tried
And I got friends on the other side
I sense…foreshadowing.

Double post, don’t mind this.
