Imagine being invited to interview for a position, then being made to take lame tests that are actually pretty pointless, then have your time wasted filling out paperwork, and on top of that, be unceremoniously told someone else is being picked over you….
Crap ! This is exactly what happened the last time I applied for a job. Didn’t even get any cheap complimentary goodies neither. Well, guess the joke’s on me…… * shrug *
It’s not a happy ending for the other guy/gal either, since s/he will keep on filling paperwork… FOREVER!
EVER! EVER!
Or at least they have to “let him go”.
Yeah, well Finch has been doing the Batman – training herself and disciplining herself – for a long time whilst Sal has been relying on her costume to do all the heavy lifting. Maybe the time has come to buckle down and get serious?
Makes me think of the motto of the Supernatural Operations Corps in the Shadow Ops series: ‘Skill beats will.” It’s espoused by military sorcerors who routinely squash rogue magic users who are sometimes a good deal stronger than they are. And the stronger among the outlaws are generally shocked as highly trained soldiers with a fraction of their power don’t even break a sweat whipping their butts, a sentiment that I’m sure some of Batman’s foes can understand.
That is true most of the time untill a building falls on you or a mountain gets dropped on you or someone just snaps their fingers and you cease to exist.
What’s Salvadora going to do,now that she’s not a member of THICC!?
Still be a heroine.
Train hard with Finch to better improve herself?
And still be thicc

^^^ That’s one way of looking at it.
Saitama knows how it feels to have to do pointless tests and then qualified as a low class.
Will Finch and Salvadora’s friendship be put to the test???
Maybe she don’t need THICC anyway…!?
I thought this was a funny adventure comic, why are you breaking my heart like this 🙁
Well maybe Finch and Salvadora can go off and form P.H.A.T. Professional Heroes Around Town. I’m sure Finch can run the place.

Intelligence, training, and discipline can beat natural ability (or supernatural ability)…
Not to mention dumb luck. (Salvadora’s field of expertise)
