That’s not what BAMF means to most people, wikipedia article notwithstanding. It’s been short for “Bad Ass Mother F*&%$er” for a lot longer than Nightcrawler has even existed. I’ve always been kind of impressed they slipped that sound effect past the editors in the first place – and I’ve seen webcomics that mocked it with a (sexy) teleporter who made a “MILF!” sound whenever she used her powers.
That said, both the comic book “vanish in a puff of smoke” definition and the “tough, fearless person” version apply nicely to Finch here.
NINJA VANISH !!!!!!
Fog obscures not only vision, but perception, also!
The humble smoke bomb, ally of street level hero’s everywhere.
Don’t you just hate it when the villain doesn’t boast about their previously unused smoke-penetrating super-senses in advance? 🙂
“Bamf” is an indication of teleportation.
Marvel, strangely, failed to copyright the word So any random webcomic can use it
